Aisin AZ6 Six Speed Manual Transmission

Give a matching manual transmission project a replacement option with an Aisin AZ6 six speed unit. AZ6 variants can differ by application, so selecting the correct version requires more than matching the transmission family name. The order should identify the specific vehicle and the unit configuration needed for the installation.

Compare the bellhousing, input shaft, output connection, shifter location, mounts, and identification markings with the original transmission. Confirm which external components are supplied before purchase. The installer should inspect the clutch, flywheel, release components, and related hardware and use the fluid specified for the exact application. Conversion projects require a separate compatibility review.
